The popular card game "Fool" originated in Russia in the 18th century. There was no mystery in the name, since the essence of the game was - “to leave in the fools”. Initially, it was popular among the peasant population, while the high society preferred poker and solitaire.

However, already in the USSR, "Fool" began to gain popularity and became on a par with the above games. Variety of the game, such as the flip and transfer fool, only made it popular. In addition to the two well-known versions of "Fool", there are about 80 more varieties of the game.
